 NAMI Greater Cleveland (National Alliance on Mental Illness) 

NAMI is dedicated to empowering persons affected by mental illness and their family members to achieve a better quality of life by providing them with support, education, referral and advocacy.

 On this special day of relaxation and rejuvenation sample a variety of healing methods offered by experienced practitioners.

10:00-10:15 Opening Ceremony

12:30-1:00 Keynote Speaker Rebecca Elle, MSSA, LSW – Sensory Specialist

Rebecca earned her Master Degree from Case Western Reserve University. She created and implemented smell therapies for low and high incidence special needs children in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Special Education Division from 2002-2010 and currently works as a solution specialist.

Mini Experiences

10:15-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 Ursuline Reiki Clinic (every 20 minutes)

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

10:30-12:00 and 1:15-2:30 (Spiritual Counseling Through Mediumship Readings with Molly Hastings (every 20 minutes)

Molly brings 30 years of experience as a therapist, teacher, spiritual practitioner,

workshop presenter and medium.

11:15-12:00 and 1:15-4:00 Crystal Healing with Tammie Scheider (every 20 minutes)

11:15-12:00 and 1:15-4:00 Raindrop Technique with Essential Oils (every 15 minutes)

 10:15– 11:00 Journaling For Your Soul with Shirley Nelson

Journaling is a solitary spiritual discipline and no one can do it for you. The idea is to

keep writing no matter what comes up. With every discovery you will learn more about

who you are and become a more authentic being.

10:15-10:45 Crystal Meditation – Love and Compassion with Tammie Scheider

Focus on love and compassion using crystals energetically aligned with the heart chakra

in a meditation experience.

10:45 – 11:30 Natural Medicine Cabinet with Essential Oils with Nancy Rattray

This interactive hands-on workshop will teach you how to use essential oils to support

your immune system and increase your energy.

 11:00 – 11:30 Transpersonal Hypnotherapy -Through These Doors with

Steve Imbornoni

Hypnosis based regression therapy provides the opportunity to access and bring healing

to past psychological and spiritual wounds wherever they may originate. Transpersonal

hypnotherapy can also assist the spiritual seeker to access their spiritual resources.

11:45-12:15 Guided Meditation with Ron Bracale

Ron will lead a guided meditation incorporating the balancing of our beings and the resolution of polarities (Yin and Yang, Soul and Spirit).

1:00– 1:45 Creating the Life Your Soul Wants with Laura Imbornoni

What do you celebrate about your life? Using transpersonal life coaching techniques, we will explore your life mission, current goals and how they connect. We will explore your

strongest attributes and consider how they can be used to succeed.

 1:15- 2:00 What Happens when Smelling Essential Oils with Rebecca Elle:

Margurite Maury:…when we are dealing with an essential oil and its odoriferance, we are dealing directly with a vital force…..”Participants will be invited to explore beauty by smell, connecting to the olfactory journey. Children with Autism or other special needs are welcome.

1:45– 2:30 Introduction to the Medicine Wheel of Life with Linda Durnbaugh  Whether it’s the aging process, the cycle of the seasons, or the transitions of an idea, circles inform our lives.  This circular recurrence is often called a Medicine Wheel by indigenous peoples. Explore where you are on it now with information from different
traditions, singing, rattling, and reflection.  Rattles provided or bring your own.

2:00-3:00 Zentangle 101 with Tammy Loukas

Zentangle is an easy to learn drawing method that simultaneously relaxes the body and

focuses the mind – A meditative art form that allows you to create beautiful images from

repetitive patterns.

2:30 – 3:15 – Standing Yoga Postures – Grounding and Emerging with Laura Imbornoni

Experience the simplicity of standing on the earth in yoga poses, in classical positions or

with healthy modifications. Standing postures offer us a sense of grounding and at the

same time, a sense of emerging and reaching upward and outward.

3:00– 3:45 Intangible Wisdom: Developing Our Intuitive Gifts with Molly Hastings

Molly will introduce you to the modes through which subtle information is received.

Through discussion, practice and Q & A, you will leave with a new perspective on your

innate intangible wisdom and how to invite more of you into the world.

 4:00 Transformative Music with Ron Bracale. Ron will perform some traditional Zen Honkyoku pieces as well   as original pieces with Shakuhachi (Zen bamboo flutes) and Anasazi (Ancient Pueblo flutes).
