About Don Iannone:

Don is the author of 4 books of poetry and 2 books combining his poetry and photography. In addition, he is the editor of 2 poetry collections. His poems have been published in various print and electronic poetry journals. In a 2012 interview with Dr. Zara Larsen on Circles of Change, Don described his poetry as “wordplay in times of joy, crisis, and consternation.” In 2010, Anne Wright, the author, publisher, and wife of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet James A. Wright described Don’s first poetry book, Stilling the Waters, in this way: “Each poem in Don Iannone’s Stilling the Waters is as delicate and clear as sounds that resonate when striking a crystal glass. His book is a celebration of nature, spirit, and our lives. One can find peace in his words.” ” Don teaches Art of the Essay, an undergraduate writing course at the University of Philosophical Research in Los Angeles. He holds an MA In Consciousness Studies and is a Certified Reiki Master Therapist. Before retirement, Don worked in the economic development and healthcare fields for 40 years.
